As an additional feature, signals can be demodulated in real-time, making it a powerful tool for professionals in wireless communication, IoT development, and RF analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignfull size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"275\" src=\"https:\/\/test.enclustra.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/enclustra_design_services_spectrum_analyzer-750x-011-1.jpg\" alt=\"enclustra design services spectrum analyzer 750x 011 (1)\" class=\"wp-image-2701\" title=\"1.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/test.enclustra.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/enclustra_design_services_spectrum_analyzer-750x-011-1.jpg 750w, https:\/\/test.enclustra.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/enclustra_design_services_spectrum_analyzer-750x-011-1-18x7.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Challenge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SignalShark needed to achieve high performance while maintaining low power consumption &#8211; a crucial requirement for a battery-powered, compact, and portable design. The challenge was to balance computational power with energy efficiency without compromising real-time processing capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Solution<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To meet the requirements, Enclustra implemented the entiresignal processing path using a low-cost, low-power AMD Artix\u2122 7 device, specifically the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.enclustra.com\/en\/products\/fpga-modules\/mars-ax3\/\">Mars AX3<\/a>&nbsp;module. This approach provided significant advantages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>8 kHz \u2013 8 GHz frequency range for wideband signal detection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>40 MHz real-time instantaneous bandwidth to capture even fleeting signals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extremely high sweep rate of up to 50 GHz\/s<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High dynamic range (HDR) receiver, ensuring reliable signal detection in dense RF environments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fully automatic direction-finding with Narda\u2019s ADFA antennas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Portable and rugged design, suitable for both lab and field applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By leveraging bit-true models before starting the FPGA implementation, Enclustra enabled Narda to evaluate system performance in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The modular VHDL codebase, along with existing unit and top-level regression tests, simplified the integration of additional features, ensuring a robust and reliable solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignfull size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1300\" src=\"https:\/\/test.enclustra.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/signalshark-signal-under-signal-2.jpg\" alt=\"signalshark signal under signal 2\" class=\"wp-image-2703\" title=\"5.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/test.enclustra.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/signalshark-signal-under-signal-2.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/test.enclustra.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/signalshark-signal-under-signal-2-768x520.jpg 768w, https:\/\/test.enclustra.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/signalshark-signal-under-signal-2-1536x1040.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/test.enclustra.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/signalshark-signal-under-signal-2-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>SignalShark by Narda<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Narda\u2019s SignalShark is now an industry-leading spectrum analyzer, optimized for precision, speed, and efficiency. The collaboration between Enclustra and Narda resulted in a compact, high-performance device that excels in real-time spectrum monitoring and interference detection<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abOne of the main parts in the digital signal processing path of Narda\u2019s Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer SignalShark has been developed and implemented by Enclustra.
